And looks like the makers are keen too, so here is the good news coming in for all of you. If everything goes according to plan, the much cherished PK will have its sequel.

In an event where Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan launched the DVD of PK, the director was quizzed whether its sequel is in the pipeline to which he replied. "Well may be we can make a sequel.”

Abhijaat who wrote the script for the satirical drama, will once again pen down a story for the sequel. “Let's see. Abhijaat is writing it so let's see (laughs). You have to ask Abhijaat if Ranbir is there in the film or not (laughs again)”, Rajkumar Hirani was quoted by a leading daily as saying.

However, with every reply there was a clever smile on Hirani's face but that may also be to perplex us over its making.

The last scene in PK had Aamir along with Ranbir landing on Earth, which also gave much hint that the two may star together in the sequel.

However, nothing is being incorporated for now but definitely in couple of years we all may see PK 2.

Last year's release PK minted Rs 339.50 cr nett in India becoming the biggest grosser ever. The movie also broke Aamir Khan's very own Dhoom 3 record of Rs 280 cr nett, which was topping the chats till PK released.
